Breslin Decks & Awnings concentrates on designing and building decks and installing SunSetter Awnings exclusively. It is not part of, or a sideline to, another business. We are therefore able to keep current on all national and local codes for deck building, including safety features, acceptable building materials and methods, and what the building inspectors are looking for during their job-site inspection. Nick Breslin, the owner, is on site during construction.

Breslin Decks & Awnings has been engaged in these activities since 1987, exposing us to more site conditions, design possibilities and township procedures for obtaining permits.
LOCALITY
Breslin Decks & Awnings is not a franchise, nor part of a national company. We are located in and operate in the suburban Philadelphia area, and deal with local lumber yards in order to select quality building materials and prompt delivery.
OPTIONS
Breslin Decks & Awnings can offer options to customers, such as decks built on 90 degree angles around the corners of houses, decks build around trees and decks built around Jacuzzis. Our options also include a variety of decking patterns, such as parallel, diagonal, herringbone or a combination of both for extra large decks.
ACCESSORIES

WORKMANSHIP
Breslin decks are constructed with the best quality in mind. We screw down
the decking and add edge trim around the entire perimeter of the deck. This improves the overall appearance of the deck and adds weather protection to the open (butt) ends of the decking.
All ends of railings, posts, balusters and corners are mitred 45º and sanded to eliminate sharp square corners. We seal between your deck and your house with flashing to minimize the potential for water damage to the house. We elevate the footings so your posts are not in contact with the soil.
We clean up debris daily, as well as a final clean-up when the custom deck is completed.
SAFETY & INSURANCE
Breslin Decks & Awnings provides Liability Insurance, which protects you as a customer. Visits from Building Inspectors are scheduled during construction. All construction is in accordance with National/Local building codes. Information on the maintenance of the deck and products is provided, along with warranties on decking products. Breslin Decks & Awnings provide an unconditional 1-year warranty on their own workmanship.
